BENEFITS OF MEMBERSHIP

 

  1. An organization solely dedicated to the advancement of determining the origin and cause of fires, explosions for the protection of lives and property.
  2. A newsletter that is published several times annually to inform members of new ideas, case law and review, and articles of interest for advanced education.
  3. Provides education at seminars in various parts of Ohio. Update-to-date technology and methodology to the attendees.
  4. Be a part of the advancement of fire/explosion investigation and the numerous professions involved in the science.
  5. Promotes interaction between public and private professionals, as well as involvement between the chapter and individual members. By promoting interaction, it encourages networking between investigators, engineers, etc., and sharing of ideas.
  6. The Ohio Chapter encourages professionalism in the field of fire/explosion investigation, which strengthens a case against and accused brought to justice.
  7. The Ohio Chapter is an advocate for the promotion and affirmation of the role of fire investigation, not only within the profession, but with society as well.
  8. Each member receives an annual membership list that facilitates for continual communication among investigators and technical support. 
  9. The latest technology and developments of the profession of fire causation.
  10. Supports local and international certification requirements as set forth by the International Association of Arson Investigators.
